Do you need help affording food for your pet?
Although we successfully unite well over a thousand animals with their new families each year, the goal of the Chautauqua County Humane Society (CCHS) is always to keep pets in the loving homes they are already a part of. The CCHS Pet Pantry is open to Chautauqua County Residents who may be struggling with the loss of jobs and other sources of income. Once a month residents are able to come to our adoption center located at 2825 Strunk Road in Jamestown to receive pet food and cat litter. The Salvation Army, 83 South Main Street in Jamestown now also offers a pet food pantry site. The food is made available by generous donors, so the available supply will vary.
Food pickup is held during regular CCHS Business Hours 12pm-4pm Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and 2pm-6pm on Tuesday and Friday.
Food pickup at The Salvation Army is available 10am-12pm and 1pm-3:30pm Monday through Friday.
